Department of Public Administration features highly-qualified faculty, well-organized setup and bountiful academic achievements and honors. The department currently boasts 17 faculty (11 doctors), including six full professors, three associate professors, two PhD supervisors, one committee member of National Teaching Guidance Committee, one State Council special allowance receiver and one national excellent teacher. The department offers two bachelor programs, including Administrative Management and Public Service Administration; and three master programs, including Administrative Management, Political Theory and International Politics. In the past five years, the department has conducted nearly 30 national, provincial and ministerial level research projects, authored 20-odd academic monographs and textbooks and published 150-odd academic papers. The department offers programs and courses that have won several awards of provincial and ministerial level, among which Administrative Management is awarded as distinguished major of national and provincial level and provincial famous major; the course Administrative Management is graded as provincial excelsior course.
Department of Public Administration aims at fostering highly-qualified inter-disciplinary talents with wide horizon, solid foundation, high quality and strong ability. Multi-disciplinary courses, based by fundamental courses like sociology, management, politics, economics, law and psychology, and supplemented by courses of skills, mathematical tools and methodology are offered by the department.
